As-IS analysis of network structure.
Visualise product flows and service levels through a digital twin of the network. Heatmaps for customers, suppliers and orders. Identify cost drivers in the current structure.
- Heatmaps visualising customers, suppliers and orders
- Analysis of the current cost structure, identification of cost drivers
- Freely scalable level of detail
The basis for optimising a supply chain is always the analysis of the current network structure. For this purpose W2MO builds a digital twin of the network. Visualisation of product flows, use of heatmaps and graphical presentation of service-level areas give a comprehensive overview of all core information in the network. Reports on product flows, transport volumes and costs create the basis to identify inefficiencies and potential improvements within the supply chain.

Scenario calculation and interactive supply chain optimisation.
Generate, evaluate and compare scenarios on the map — by moving locations, running center-of-gravity analyses, or testing different supply strategies.
- Generate and evaluate scenarios with innovative algorithms on top of the digital twin
- Plan interactively by moving, adding or disabling locations directly on the map
- Find locations quickly via center-of-gravity analysis, optimisation algorithms and location-candidate grids
- Calculate optimised product flows under multiple restrictions
- Identify the most significant differences in a detailed scenario manager
Planning and optimisation projects often compare different scenarios. Typical questions range from new procurement and supply chain strategies, over different allocations of products to locations, up to the fundamental question of the correct position and number of locations. With the interactive structure of W2MO, such scenarios can be analysed and evaluated quickly and easily — often directly on the map. The integrated scenario manager makes it possible to compare different alternatives or time periods, such as various supply strategies or location-product allocations.
Depending on the required level of detail and data availability, each individual customer and supply order is considered individually or composed into batches according to a certain transport logic. All levels of the supply chain are considered. An overall picture is created — based on costs, capacities and transport times. Using a flexible modeling paradigm, W2MO makes it possible to adjust the level of detail and to refine it on demand.
In addition to classic scenarios, risk analyses of the supply chain can be performed to better assess the effects of disruptive events. In parallel, an analysis of customs effects as well as a total cost-to-serve analysis is also easily possible.
W2MO uses a powerful optimisation engine and high-performance algorithms to choose suitable locations and then turn them into the best possible solutions — whether locations are determined by center-of-gravity, or by targeted selection from many hypothetical location candidates considering the order structure.

A new intuitive scenario manager.
Compare key performance indicators between scenarios, synchronise up to four models, visualise discrepancies on the map and slice the analysis by filter.
- Fast, detailed comparison of KPIs between scenarios
- Synchronisation of up to four models
- Visualisation of discrepancies on the map
- Filter by region, product group or customer group
Especially in planning projects, it is useful to run through different possibilities. To compare these models meaningfully and to identify deviations, the Scenario Manager offers numerous options.
Various key figures — costs, number of transports and many more — can be compared. These are generally global indicators. However, it is also possible to apply different filters. On the one hand this makes it possible to look at regional differences. On the other hand, the analysis can be restricted to specific product or customer groups.
In addition, the analysis can focus on individual locations. Thanks to the synchronisation of the maps, the effects of different scenarios can also be visualised directly. Altogether, the Scenario Manager offers a comprehensive tool for analysing a project.

Intelligent handling of large data volumes.
Successful supply chain optimisation needs a lot of data — usually scattered across multiple systems. W2MO is built for it.
- Processing of large data amounts via optimised database structure and parallelisation
- Easy data transfer from SAP and other systems
- Algorithms to detect data gaps and correct data errors
Data is often heterogeneously distributed across different systems. W2MO is distinguished by particularly easy data management. Imports can be done directly via a CSV file or through a direct connection to the database of another system. Logivations is an SAP Application Development Partner and offers the possibility to dock onto all standard SAP systems via a standard interface. Many standard SAP tables are already prepared in W2MO to simplify the integration; customised configurations can easily be added.
In addition, W2MO contains algorithms to check data consistency. Obvious data errors can be corrected automatically. This makes it easy to create a complete digital twin ready for quick analysis at any time.
The non-relational database structure and the use of highly parallelised algorithms enable the processing of huge amounts of data. Models with several hundreds of millions of order lines along with a distribution network covering a multitude of customer accounts can be edited without trouble.

Holistic consideration of network and location.
Integrated location and network planning in one tool — closing the gap between supply chain optimisation and warehouse logistics planning.
- Integrated location and network planning in one tool
- Transfer cost records from the digital twin to design a location in the supply chain model
- Direct transfer of resulting inbound and outbound movements into a simulation model of a warehouse or production location
Every change in the supply chain network directly influences the cost structure of individual locations while also changing their requirement profile. The interaction of planning and optimisation of logistics networks with individual locations enables a holistic and integrated approach. The effects of proposed changes are not only visible at once, but can also be analysed directly in the simulation model and tested for practical suitability.
This closes the gap between supply chain optimisation and warehouse logistics planning. W2MO builds a bridge between these worlds and allows its users to face today's rapidly changing markets with the necessary agility. The digital twins of network and locations work hand in hand.
