Pre-trained models recognise the state of standard forklifts; additional vehicle types can be trained during the implementation project. You see the load state for any vehicle — manual or automated — with no on-board sensor needed.

Because every transport is tracked, the data is stored and analysed. Reports cover positions, distances driven, speeds, idle times and load states, plus combinations of these dimensions, and are continuously recalculated from the latest tracking data. 3D heatmaps visualise tracking information in the context of the physical warehouse layout.

Order management dashboard for mixed warehouse fleets

W2MO detects changes in area utilisation, new fill levels or optical signals and can generate the required transport orders automatically. Orders are then distributed optimally across available transport resources — conveyors, forklifts, AGVs, robots — and used as efficiently as their properties allow. Unnecessary trips are minimised; routing and tour building are optimised. W2MO algorithms calculate the most efficient route per order and dynamically navigate every transport resource around congestion, obstacles and speed limits.

W2MO Fleet Management bundles all the tools needed to manage transports: define routes, manage and execute transport orders and avoid blockages. Intelligent alarm and traffic management are included.

Existing AGVs — and AGVs from new vendors — only need a simple interface to receive transport orders. Every AGV system already offers some form of “order intake”, so this is straightforward. An interface to report current AGV location or state is not needed, because positions are already captured by W2MO RTL&RS, and load state can be estimated reliably from the distance travelled and the quantities transported.

W2MO on-board navigation runs on any device with a modern browser. Intelligent algorithms in the digital twin calculate the optimal route, using live RTL&RS data to avoid congestion. Blocked lanes and other obstacles are factored in in real time. Collision warnings can be enabled on top.

The driver is guided from the current position to the destination via a UI that continuously updates remaining time and distance. A pick/put dialogue is integrated and triggered automatically based on position.

For the control room, a wide range of productivity reports support a fast and simple approach to fleet optimisation.

Battery management for autonomous transport robots is key to reducing cost and increasing efficiency. W2MO offers the full range of options: charging can be started automatically or manually, and the battery can be charged fully or only partially to bridge the gap to the next charging slot. With short top-ups during breaks, a robot with limited battery capacity can run around the clock. When a robot reaches its minimum battery level, it finishes the current task and moves automatically to an available charging station. Charging can also be started manually at the press of a button. Once charged — fully or partially — robots return autonomously to their working area. Battery state is easy to monitor from the operator UI.

As a long-standing SAP Application Development Partner, Logivations has built many SAP interfaces. That experience extends to the Warehouse Execution System. Beyond the many integration paths for optimisation algorithms in SAP — for example calculating the optimal storage bin — the Real-Time Location & Recognition System adds significant value on top of SAP.

Skip the scans needed to confirm movements back to SAP. W2MO books goods movements automatically based on actual motion and posts them to SAP, delivering substantial productivity gains.
