2. General Information

The protection of personal data is of high importance to us. As a general rule, the core business of Logivations GmbH does not require the processing of personal data. Within customer projects, no personal data of customers or end users is processed or stored. Where test or sample data is used, it is either anonymised or consists of synthetic data without any personal reference.

3. Hosting and Server Log Files

When you visit our website, certain data is automatically collected and stored in server log files:

• IP address
• Date and time of access
• Browser type and version
• Operating system
• Referrer URL

This data is necessary to ensure the functionality, stability and security of the website.

4. Cookies

Our website uses only technically necessary cookies that are required for its operation and security.

We do not use tracking, analytics or marketing cookies, and our web analytics (see section 5) works entirely without cookies. For this reason, no cookie consent banner is required.

5. Web Analytics (Pirsch Analytics)

This website uses Pirsch Analytics, a privacy-friendly web analytics service provided by Emvi Software GmbH, Nickelstraße 1b, 33378 Rheda-Wiedenbrück, Germany. The data is processed exclusively on servers in Germany and is not shared with third parties.

Pirsch works entirely without cookies and without storing any identifiers on your device. To generate anonymous usage statistics, a non-reversible hash is created from your IP address, the user agent, the date and a secret value (salt) that changes daily. Your IP address is not stored in clear text; re-identification of visitors is technically impossible beyond a maximum of 24 hours. The aggregated statistics derived from this (e.g. page views, referral sources, country) are stored for an unlimited period but do not allow any conclusions to be drawn about individual persons. No personal profiles are created and users are not tracked across devices.

We consider the data generated in this way to be anonymous within the meaning of the GDPR. Should this nevertheless — in the alternative — be regarded as the processing of personal data, it is carried out on the basis of our legitimate interest in a privacy-friendly, statistical analysis of usage behaviour to optimise our website pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. No consent is required for this, as neither cookies nor comparable device identifiers within the meaning of § 25 TTDSG are used.

6. Third-Party Services

Our website currently does not embed content or services from third parties (such as Google Maps or YouTube) that would transmit your data to those providers.

Should we integrate such services in the future, they will only be activated with your consent, and we will update this Privacy Policy accordingly.

7. Contact and Online Forms

If you contact us or use one of the forms on our website, we process the data you provide in order to handle your request. This includes in particular:

• the contact form and enquiries by email;
• the "Stay in the loop" enquiry form on the webinars page;
• registrations for demos and demo videos, whitepaper and document downloads;
• questionnaires and feedback forms;
• lead capture at trade fairs and events.

Depending on the form, we may process your name, company, email address, telephone number and job title, as well as the content of your message. This data is stored in order to process your request or to provide the requested service or content, and is not used for any other purpose without your consent.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures / performance of a contract), Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent, where you have given it) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interests).

8. Applications

Personal data submitted in the context of job applications is processed solely for the purpose of the recruitment process.

9. Internal Processing

Personal data is processed only to the extent necessary for internal administrative purposes (e.g. payroll).

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR.

Such data is not used within customer projects.

10. Data Retention

Personal data is stored only for as long as necessary for the respective purpose or as required by law.

Data relevant for tax and accounting purposes is retained for up to 10 years in accordance with statutory obligations.

You have the following rights under the GDPR:
